Chinwe Owunna
Chinwe Owunna is a healthcare professional and program management leader with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and public health sectors. She currently serves as a management consultant with General Dynamics Information Technology, partnering with the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to deliver enterprise-wide regulatory IT solutions that modernize operations and enhance regulatory outcomes. Previously, Chinwe led the infectious diseases portfolio at the United States Pharmacopeia, advancing drug regulatory and manufacturing practices globally. She also managed programs at Management Sciences for Health, collaborating with foreign governments, the World Health Organization, and private sector partners to deliver innovative pharmaceutical solutions. As a registered pharmacist and Master of Public Health graduate from Tulane University, Chinwe combines clinical expertise with strategic leadership. Her personal experience with her daughter, who has bilateral hearing loss and has been a patient of the Potomac River Clinic since January 2019, has deepened her appreciation for the challenges and opportunities in hearing loss care. Chinwe is committed to improving access to high-quality healthcare and contributing to impactful solutions for individuals and families.
